WE WELCOME REMOTE U.S.-based CANDIDATES As Senior Associate, Relationship Marketing Strategist you will join a team of talented and experienced marketers who focus on helping Merkle clients achieve their goals. Reporting into the Director, Relationship Marketing Strategist, you will plan strategy with a focus on first-party data-driven channels (email, SMS, direct mail, push notifications). You will help develop and manage campaign strategies that produce measurable return on investment and work across multiple vertical markets (Insurance, Financial Services, Non-Profit, Retail, Automotive, Travel, Media and Entertainment, B2B, High-tech). You will need a deep passion for finding solutions and an understanding of how businesses, brands and customers interact, with an advanced understanding of the evolving role that data and technology play in this relationship. You should be able to identify business growth opportunities and develop recommendations to help grow client relationships. You Will:

Build, develop, and deliver messaging strategy for omni-channel marketing plans using 1st party data. Be a subject matter expert and translate new technology—focused on messaging and CRM—into new marketing ideas for the client. Show an understanding of differences in marketing to customers in different industries and environments. Ensure meaningful client value is delivered through a mix of best-practice solutions, capabilities, and original thinking. Write campaign briefs to hand off to creative and execution teams. Collaborate and develop relationships with internal Merkle teams (account management, operations, creative, analytics) and partner agencies to assess cross-channel feasibility. Identify main data points and measurements to demonstrate the impact of our approach and strategy on the client’s business. You Have:

Bachelor's Degree required 4+ years' experience in data-driven marketing – specifically CRM/email/direct mail/SMS/push Hands-on skills using data and research to guide decisions (proficiency in Excel for complex spreadsheets and research tools is advantageous) Experience with client-facing communication (writing and presentations) Experience translating data analysis into actionable marketing recommendations and presentations – proficiency in PowerPoint (advantageous) Experience incorporating internal and external feedback on an iterative basis Experience using business knowledge to identify new business and marketing opportunities Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Braze experience (advantageous) Experience working on several projects simultaneously and delivering on time, with ability to collaborate with a diverse team Comfort and experience working within a matrixed organization with a wide degree of latitude 20-40% travel The annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Benefits and Perks:
