Overview The Casino Relationship Marketing Director oversees the day-to-day operations of VIP players, concerts, resort sales and the bus program. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and WCH’s policies, practices, and procedures. This role manages Casino Marketing Staff, Executive Hosts, Casino Hosts, and Concierge Team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manages the host program, including departmental policies, Host codes, reports, goals and expectations, tools and accountability.

Manages the host contact-management tool.

Increases VIP revenue, number of coded VIPs, number of VIP trips and average VIP ADT.

Develops and executes VIP events.

Executes all Casino Marketing business plans to meet performance and profit objectives for short- and long-term goals.

Ensures corporate comp policies and procedures are followed and maintained.

Yields VIP events, concerts, hotel & spa (where applicable).

Controls costs in areas of payroll, operating expenses, inventory, comp exceptions, promotional allowances, lessee comps, airfare, and discounts.

Works closely with Finance to monitor customer profitability, budget vs. actual results, and comp levels in hotel, food, and beverage.

Responds to internal audit reports and recommendations.

Manages monthly P&L as needed and communicates needs to subordinates.

Initiates revenue recovery programs when needed with regards to Casino Hosts.

Addresses IT concerns, system needs, personnel resources, and upgrade requirements routinely.

Works with Gaming Operations to facilitate service.

Supervises Telemarketing: focuses on driving Player Development Relationship productivity through outbound calls related to production, trips booked, new customer development, profitability, and event contribution.

Supervises Casino Hosts: drives host productivity through telemarketing, production, trips booked, new customer development, profitability, and event contribution.

Maintains high standards of service and practices throughout the property.

Identifies training needs and oversees training programs; may run programs as necessary.

Manages performance of Casino Hosts and Relationship Marketing Coordinators.

Plans timelines to complete tasks and department projects, meeting deadlines.

Develops working knowledge of IGB rules, regulations, and Internal Controls applicable to the position.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and expected to complete a GED within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment.

Bachelor’s Degree in related field AND three (3) years’ experience in a management position OR seven (7) years’ experience in a management position OR five (5) years’ experience in a management position with Wind Creek Hospitality.

Five (5) years of experience as a Manager or above of high-end casino guest processes (Casino Marketing, Player Services) required.

Proficient in database analysis, planning and execution of campaigns/events.

Proficient with MS Office (Word and Excel).

Ability to monitor and analyze financial reports and budgets.

Extensive knowledge of CMP and Opera systems or equivalent casino operations systems.

Experience in casino floor or hotel operations.

Strong motivation, self-starter mentality, communication skills and high energy.

Able to work in a high-pressure environment to achieve goals.

Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Willing to travel and participate in required training.

Must have an Occupational License (or ability to obtain and maintain a license) under the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position.

Base Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $102,900.00 - $126,800.00 (base pay depending on experience and skillset).
