Gastroenterologist - Eureka, CA (19109)
Join Providence Medical Group and Providence Hospital Eureka as a board-certified/board-eligible Gastroenterologist and be part of a talented, well-trained, compassionate team of providers located in Eureka, California. This is a great opportunity to join a growing GI group that currently offers ERCP. The hospital is a regional medical center which provides comprehensive cancer care, is designated as a Level III Trauma center, and is the sponsor of a Family Medicine residency program. You will collaborate with general surgeons who perform bowel resections, fundoplication, Whipple\'s, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Responsibilities
Practice as a Gastroenterologist within Providence Medical Group and Providence Hospital Eureka.
Provide GI services with current capabilities including ERCP; participate in developing a local EUS program as applicable.
Collaborate with general surgeons on procedures such as bowel resections, fundoplication, Whipple\'s procedures, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist.
Endoscopic Ultrasound training is a plus with potential for developing a local EUS program.
H1-B visa candidates supported; O1 visa candidates considered.
Benefits and Compensation
Salary compensation between $650,125 and $712,125 per year; salary reflects starting range of total compensation and may include bonuses and stipends.
Competitive compensation with a 2-year salary guarantee, comprehensive benefits package and 5-6 weeks per year of time away from practice for vacation/holiday/CME time.
Generous, multiyear sign-on bonus and relocation assistance package.
Residency/fellowship stipend up to $2,000 per month and robust student loan repayment program up to $120,000 for qualifying candidates.
Providence Medical Group providers are eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
Shareholder track opportunity starting in year 3 with annual bonuses and other perks.
The posted salary reflects potential bonuses and varies by factors noted above. A CME allowance and other benefits are offered by the medical group. Note that the salary range is provided in accordance with state law and may vary.
