position at Children’s Nebraska, with the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. BE/BC, fellowship trained Neonatologist to grow the practice. Individuals will hold a faculty appointment at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, commensurate with their credentials. Responsibilities

Join the current faculty of 13 neonatologists and experienced teams of in-house nurse practitioners. Support a program with interest in relevant basic, translational and clinical research. The Division is active in basic, translational, clinical and educational research programs, and has a robust research infrastructure available to investigators through the Child Health Research Institute. Funds to develop a research program are available based on the candidate’s expertise. Call approximately 1 in 6 nights. Level IV NICU with 55 private beds located at Children’s Hubbard Center opened in 2021. Level III NICU with 38 private beds located at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Fellowship program with 1 fellow per year. Robust teaching service with residents, medical students, NNP students and other learners. About Children’s Nebraska

Children’s Nebraska is a 225-bed nonprofit organization caring for children since 1948. Founded by the community and for the community, Children’s is the only full-service, pediatric specialty health center in Nebraska, providing expertise in more than 50 pediatric specialty services to children across a five-state region and beyond. The state-of-the-art Hubbard Center for Children opened in August 2021 and is home to Nebraska’s only Level IV regional Newborn Intensive Care Unit, Fetal Care Center, the state’s only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and a first-in-the-region Cardiac Care Unit. The Child Health Research Institute, established in 2017, aims to assist investigators with start-up funding and infrastructure for clinical, basic science or translational research. The University of Nebraska Medical Center NICU is a regional high-risk perinatal center and admits approximately 450 infants each year and has an average daily census of 25 patients. Nebraska Medicine has an active delivery service allowing Neonatology and Perinatology to work closely together. Pediatric anesthesiologists are also available in-house. Additionally, a full complement of pediatric specialties in the joint practice with Children's Nebraska provide timely on-site consultations.
