About the Team Join the Workday AI organization to build and support state-of-the-art AI capabilities that power Workday’s product suite. You’ll work with a cross-functional team that ships frequently, iterates rapidly, and supports millions of users. About the Role We are looking for a dynamic Principal Product Manager to own the delivery of AI-powered agents within Workday. You will either build customer-facing agents or infrastructure and frameworks for Workday’s application teams to deploy to customers. You will work at high velocity to experiment, innovate, develop, iterate and scale AI agents, collaborating with domain-specific Product Managers to maximize impact. This role requires execution speed, inspiration and deep curiosity about emerging AI techniques. You will shape our approach to AI agents to deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive business value. General Responsibilities Build and ship state of the art AI capabilities or infrastructure Identify high-impact, high-ROI opportunities for AI at Workday and enable other teams to build these capabilities Interface with customers to validate solutions, conduct discovery, and prioritize customer problems Be the product champion externally and the voice of the customer internally Lead through influence with a strategic view of the company and articulate a vision for AI agents Manage Early Adopter programs across multiple AI initiatives Collaborate with development teams to validate value, drive adoption, and enable the field, CX, and implementers Communicate new capabilities clearly to diverse audiences Work with product teams to identify value outcomes and measurable metrics for AI investments About You Basic Qualifications 7+ years of product management experience 5+ years of experience with SaaS/B2B Technically proficient with how AI and LLM-powered technology works Other Qualifications Passion and empathy for customers and a track record as a customer advocate Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration with a product portfolio Experience bringing new product offerings to market Strong focus on user-centric design, data, research, and judgment Bias for decision-making and comfort making big decisions with minimal information Ability to operate across multiple functions and influence leaders and peers Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills Experience at AI- or data-centric companies is a plus Experience in an early-stage startup is a plus You’ll be a great fit if: You’ve worked in unstructured, fast-moving environments like early-stage startups You follow the latest in AI and emerging technologies and experiment with them You are driven to take action, push for progress, and deliver You are organized and can manage many moving parts and stakeholders You learn quickly from customer pain points and can ramp up on complex issues quickly You’re excited to bring the latest AI tech to Workday’s customer base Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annual base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Pay ranges vary by location and may include bonuses, equity, and other compensation components.
