The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC)
is looking for a board certified or board eligible allergist-immunologist to join our team in coastal Charleston, SC, on a clinician-educator track. The chosen physician will join MUSC’s Division of Pulmonology, Allergy, and Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics where our faculty enjoy rewarding and diverse careers, which include clinical care, research, and involvement in our mission to educate future physician-leaders.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy and Immunology
Committed to MUSC’s educational and research missions, and to teaching our pediatric fellows, residents, and medical students
About our opportunity
Provide primarily outpatient care for children and adults, while also providing pediatric allergy and immunology inpatient consultation services
Join a collaborative and intellectually stimulating and growing team of 3 allergy and immunology faculty members (all are pediatric trained)
Work at a Jeffrey Modell Foundation designated Diagnostic and Research Center for Primary Immunodeficiencies
Enjoy great collaborative relationships with subspecialists, including those in pulmonology, cardiology, rheumatology, dermatology, ENT, gastroenterology, and nutrition
EPIC medical record platform
Pursuing individual scholarly interests is encouraged and supported

In 2020, MUSC Children’s Health opened the Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, a 100,000 square foot, 250-bed, state-of-the-art hospital that has transformed care for women and children in the region. MUSC’s major pediatric clinical research center, the Charles P. Darby Research Institute (CRI), is the largest pediatric research facility in the Carolinas, and one of only 15 in the country.
