ABOUT THIS ROLE

Vice President, Travel & Hospitality
to join our team. In this role you will help lead and supervise the Travel division’s growing portfolio. New Business : Support new business efforts, including networking, scouting, brainstorming, proposal development and presenting, through agency selection, contracting and new client onboarding. Client Leadership : Forge and nurture relationships with clients, providing strategic counsel and oversight to account teams across a mix of clients, ensuring KPIs are met. Team Leadership : Communicate with Executive leadership, manage agency workload and client portfolio, mentor staff, and foster collaboration and accountability across Orchestra Travel. Role location:
This role is based in our New York, NY office on a hybrid basis. Orchestra staff are in office 3 days per week. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS As the Vice President, Travel & Hospitality, you will manage a broad set of responsibilities. Client & Business Development
Drive new business growth by identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and pitching to prospective clients. Build and maintain relationships with clients, industry leaders, and decision-makers to expand the agency’s network and pipeline. Represent the agency at conferences, networking events, and thought leadership forums to enhance visibility and attract business. Strategic Client Leadership
Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a key strategic leader within Orchestra’s travel division. Oversee the development of public relations strategies for a diverse client base: destinations, tourism boards, and resorts & hotel brands. Oversee team members to ensure quality of day-to-day account management and results, while driving long-term strategic planning. Coordinate across internal and external teams to deploy Orchestra’s integrated services (influencer relationships, strategic partnerships, AI research) to meet clients’ goals. Oversee a team of senior, mid and junior-level positions, identifying learning opportunities and fostering ongoing feedback and growth. Work closely with Executive leadership on planning to ensure team efficiency. Contribute to the thought leadership of the Orchestra travel team through writing and participation in industry forums and events. Work with executive leadership to help develop and manage client scopes. Essential skills: 8+ years of experience in strategic communications and media relations in Travel & Hospitality. Agency experience is a plus. Strong network in the hospitality and tourism sector (destinations, hospitality, travel tech, airlines). Experience in new business development with a strong network of industry contacts; track record of sourcing and securing new business. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team; experience mentoring in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. WORKING AT ORCHESTRA Salary (commensurate with experience and skills):
$130,000 - $150,000 , plus eligibility for an end-of-year bonus based on firm, team and individual performance.
