Head of Finance

to lead our global finance function through the next stage of growth. The right candidate will bring strong technical expertise, commercial acumen and the ability to manage finance operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The individual must be well versed in international accounting practices, with particular strength in Hong Kong, Japan, and China, while also bringing familiarity with EMEA and Americas operations. The Head of Finance will be a qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA) with 8-12+ years of experience in both audit and commercial finance, ideally in a Big 4 environment and progressing into senior finance roles within high-growth businesses. Responsibilities

Financial Management & Planning

Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support global business. Provide actionable insights and reports to the CEO and leadership team on performance, risks, and gaps. Support long-term financial planning and scenario analysis.

Global Finance Operations

Oversee monthly group consolidated financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Manage preparation and review of: Net Revenue reports (BCS and EOR) Country-level profitability analyses Operating expenses by group functions Treasury reporting and group tax updates Manage intercompany transactions, cash flow, and funding. Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and FX/payment platforms globally.

Tax and Compliance

Manage tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including CIT, VAT, and Transfer Pricing. Ensure alignment of local statutory audits with group-level requirements. Respond to local tax authority queries.

Team Leadership & Controls

Lead and develop an international finance team across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. Implement and maintain strong financial controls, governance, and compliance processes. Oversee contract reviews for clients, vendors, and partners from a financial/compliance perspective.

Business Partnering

Partner with Portfolio Management and Commercial teams on client proposals, payment terms, invoices, deposits, and FX. Support sales incentive programmes with accurate tracking and reporting. Work closely with leadership to provide reliable data and financial insight to drive decision-making.

Qualifications

8 to 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership in high-growth, multi-entity businesses. Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent). Background in both audit (Big Four preferred) and commercial finance. Expertise in international accounting practices, especially Hong Kong, Japan, and China; familiarity with EMEA and the Americas. Strong knowledge of treasury management, tax, and cross-border compliance. Experience leading teams and implementing scalable processes.
