Overview
Mining / Civil Site Design Project Manager — Kleinfelder. This hybrid office role is part of Kleinfelder’s southeast engineering team. The project work is multi-disciplinary with emphasis on mine planning, resource management, reclamation, and stormwater management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued. Location options include Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Atlanta, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL. Key Responsibilities
Managing project execution including proposal development, project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and delivery quality Overseeing pursuits, allocating resources to projects, defining client needs, addressing client concerns, and proposing solutions to project challenges Leading technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer value Nurturing and growing client relationships Supporting the achievement of professional staff career goals Education/Certification
Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) Skills & Experience
Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design, permitting and construction Ability to actively develop and maintain client relationships Capability to assess and resolve issues and conflicts Understanding of financial management concepts 6+ years of related experience in mining or industrial projects, including 2+ years of project management experience Consulting experience is preferred Move Forward with Kleinfelder
