The Territory Manager will drive adoption of BD’s Biosurgery products and Surgiphor, engaging physicians, clinicians, materials management, and other key decision makers. You will manage a territory base and expand BD product sales using a balanced selling approach focused on differentiating products, programs, and services within the Surgical Solutions space. You are responsible for attaining sales goals within the territory budget, increasing sales at current accounts, and establishing new accounts. Other Essential Functions Of The Position Include Presents, educates, and provides in-services on the use of the Company’s products to surgeons, OR staff, and other stakeholders. Identify, target, and close new business opportunities. Provide on-site technical support during procedures; train physicians and hospital staff on product use; ensure staff have current product information; ensure effective utilization of products by trained surgeons within the territory. Maintain thorough knowledge of BD’s products, channels, and distribution methods. Meet territory sales and profitability goals; develop new prospects and customers. Inform customers of new and current products, back orders, order status, pricing changes, and forecasts for future needs. Address customer complaints promptly and satisfactorily; keep appointments and practice courtesy and ethics at all times. Attend customer meetings and trade shows; provide post-convention feedback. Inform District Manager of significant market changes, competitive activity, and needed policy changes; understand competitive distribution, discounts, local terms, strategy, strengths, and weaknesses. Maintain equipment, advertising, and promotional materials in a presentable manner. Complete all paperwork accurately and on time; maintain up-to-date account records; use a sales funnel to set goals and target accounts; follow a route plan guided by customer buying habits and market conditions. Maintain product knowledge and stay current on new products; provide in-service education to hospitals as needed. Stay within expense budgets; maintain relationships with the District Manager, fellow Territory Managers, and customers. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required. A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience. Travel varies by territory – ability to travel at least 50% including overnight stays. Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with three years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards. Must possess and maintain a criminal background satisfactory to BD; backgrounds may be monitored on an annual basis or as needed. Preferred Qualifications

Operating room sales/medical device experience preferred. Documentation of successful sales performance. Ability to work in an operating room environment. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, organizational and planning skills. Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal customers and external stakeholders (KOLs, Surgeons, Physicians, Nurses, Sourcing). Understanding of needs/analysis approach to sales. Must live within the assigned region. At BD, on-site collaboration is valued to foster creativity and problem-solving in healthcare.
