Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to student enrollment. Receive inbound inquiries and conduct outbound phone calls and emails to prospective students using approved guidelines; schedule appointments with prospective students. Assess and interview prospective students to determine their needs and goals. Assess the prospective student’s ability to meet Federal Motor Carrier regulations, determine eligibility for employment in the transportation industry; assess driving record and ability to pass a DOT Physical and DOT Drug Screen. Develop referrals and personal leads. Conduct campus tours, communicate features and benefits related to prospective student interest and program offerings to support informed enrollment decisions. Discuss payment options such as third-party financing, in-house financing, workforce service/state agency funding, federal and state grants, vocational rehabilitation, Veterans Administration, and private pay. Follow up on inquiries that do not schedule an interview or do not show for an interview. Enroll students who meet eligibility requirements; complete all required enrollment forms and orientation; develop and implement follow-up plans to ensure start dates and paperwork are completed; meet or exceed enrollment objectives. Prepare and compile all documents in the student file for the first day of class. Provide employer and placement information to students and record in the Student Management System. Update and complete student transcripts and prepare graduation certificates. Accounts Receivable/Payables: prepare invoices, process payments (checks, cash, credit cards), and manage accounts payable invoices. Assist the Director in monthly account reconciliation. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Prior post-secondary education admissions experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Working knowledge of office equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution.
