About the Role The Global Tax Program Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the deployment of centralized applications such as OneSource Indirect Tax Determination, Oracle Deployment, Global POS and E-invoicing solutions among others, ensuring the compliance of the business and tax requirements throughout the implementations.

The successful candidate should have a strong knowledge of key VAT/indirect tax requirements and how to translate those into chosen technology; in addition, the candidate must be able to work-cross-functionally with other teams to support the company in completing the on-going and future business-critical projects.

Responsibilities

Serve as project lead and project manager for new system implementations and upgrades such as indirect tax compliance, indirect tax determination and process improvement projects

Serve as technology liaison with the internal information technology team and external vendors for e-invoicing in various countries across the world

Identify tax technology needs, including opportunities for process improvements, automation, efficiency gains and application of tax process and technology best practices through the use of existing technology and the implementation of new technology

Lead the creation and maintenance of the tax systems necessary to ensure proper tax reporting for strategic initiatives (process design, system selection, implementation, user acceptance, training and go-live and post go-live phases)

Configure and maintain the ERP Tax Integration with OneSource Indirect Tax

Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex sales tax concepts and effectively apply knowledge to develop and maintain tax systems

Must be hard-working, a self-starter, performance-oriented and able to meet the demands of a diverse business environment in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (with emphasis in Tax/VAT preferred)

12 or more years of work experience ideally with a combination of Tax, Accounting or Tax / Accounting systems roles

Combination of experience in a Big 4 Accounting firm and in-house at a large multi-national corporation preferred

Broad-based understanding of Tax and Accounting fundamentals and related processes

A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes

Deep analytical and problem skills

Experience with ERPs, Oracle is preferred; ONESOURCE indirect tax determination and data transformation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, etc.) preferred

Experience managing large, multidisciplinary projects (e.g., software/ERP implementations, tax co-sourcing engagements, finance transformations)

Collaborative and team player with the ability to work with people throughout the Tax Department and Corporate functions at all levels

Experience teaming with offsite teams and third parties

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners

The pay range for this position is $145,000-180,000yr USD.
