TurnKey Marketing is seeking an Account Manager (Performance Manager) to join our Client Success team, leading strategy and execution for retail automotive clients. This role combines relationship management with performance-driven marketing expertise—ensuring every client sees measurable results, understands the value we deliver, and grows with us. You’ll serve as the day-to-day partner for dealership accounts, guiding campaigns across SEM, SEO, paid social, websites, and analytics. With a strong understanding of digital automotive marketing, you’ll proactively identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and keep accounts on track for retention and growth. Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned dealership clients, managing relationships with confidence and strategic insight. Regularly communicate results, insights, and new opportunities while reinforcing the value of TurnKey’s products and services. Analyze performance data to uncover trends, set goals, and make proactive recommendations. Identify risks (“red flags”) early and take action to stabilize accounts and prevent churn. Drive account growth through upselling additional products and expanding budgets. Partner with internal teams (paid media, SEO, social, creative, and development) to deliver campaigns on time and aligned with client objectives. Maintain a deep understanding of both automotive retail and digital marketing trends to advise clients effectively. Contribute to process improvements and share best practices across the Client Success team. Meet and exceed KPIs related to retention, revenue growth, and client satisfaction. Attend client meetings, workshops, and occasional onsite visits as needed. Requirements
4+ years of experience in the automotive industry (dealership, vendor, or agency). Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, paid social, websites, and analytics. Strong track record in account management, client success, or vendor services. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations. Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail. Experience using CRMs, project management, and reporting tools. Self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred. Seniority level
