The executive assistant and board liaison (EABL) will provide necessary support to OBI’s president and CEO, board of directors and affiliated entities to help ensure OBI’s governance, programs and initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently. The EABL will report to the president & CEO and work collaboratively with all members of the OBI team.
Responsibilities and Duties
While other duties may be assigned, the list below is illustrative of the type of work in which the EABL will engage: Providing executive support to the president and CEO, such as scheduling, meeting and event preparation, conducting research and preparing materials, stakeholder outreach and project execution. Providing executive support to board committees, including the Executive Committee, Finance & Audit Committee and Nominating Committee. Serving as OBI’s board liaison, working with the president and other board officers on scheduling, logistics, meeting materials and arrangements for board and board committee meetings as well as supporting the board’s governance, nominations, minutes and compliance processes. Supporting the boards of both OBI HealthChoice and the OBI Research & Education Foundation, affiliated entities of OBI. Manage OBI staff meetings and events. Supporting projects and initiatives within the OBI Research and Education Foundation, including tasks such as vendor management, stakeholder outreach, timeline management and budgeting. Providing coverage during absences of the Operations and Member Relations Assistant. Qualifications, Skills and Experience
A working knowledge of office practices and general office management procedures. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communications skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. 4+ years of related experience. Position Location
This position may be in either OBI’s Portland or Salem office, based on preference. It is a public-facing role and will need to be in the office on a consistent basis. There is opportunity for some remote work pursuant to OBI’s hybrid work schedule policies. The salary range is $50,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience. Interested candidates should send a
