Overview
An established, patient-focused private practice is seeking a skilled Optometrist to deliver exceptional medical eye care while supporting optical recommendations “from the chair.” This role offers a balanced mix of comprehensive exams, medical management, and collaborative care with a stable, experienced team.
What You’ll Do
Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
Diagnose and co-manage ocular disease; handle urgent eye care needs
Prescribe glasses and contact lenses; educate patients on options and care
Provide pre- and post-operative care in coordination with surgical partners
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment plans
Contribute to a positive, efficient clinic flow (avg. 15–18 patients/day)
What You’ll Bring Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) and active/eligible state licensure
Strong clinical judgment with a patient-first mindset
Comfortable recommending optical solutions and “selling from the chair”
Team-oriented, professional communication, and reliability
