The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic Director of Lung Transplant physician to join the Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine
The Division of Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, led by Division Director Dr. Jeffrey Horowitz, boasts a broad array of clinical opportunities with sections of general pulmonary and critical care medicine, transplant pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine, and interventional pulmonary medicine that are complemented by clinical, translational and basic research, and substantial educational opportunities. The Division has experienced significant growth in clinical operations and its research enterprise over the last five years, and the reputation for excellence attracts outstanding physicians, educators, investigators, and trainees at one of the most comprehensive health sciences campuses in the nation. We offer state-of-the-art facilities and a diverse patient population. The Division prides itself on its breadth of basic science, translational and clinical research, and our specialized clinical programs that educate future leaders. Requirements
Associate or Professor Level will be considered Board Certified/Eligible in Adult Pulmonary Disease Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care Medicine Fellowship trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Advanced training or experience in Lung Transplantation An active research program in basic, translational, clinical, or health services research is desirable Qualify for academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.
