Instructional Designer - FT - Days - DIO at Memorial Healthcare System, Miramar, Florida. Summary: The Instructional Designer supports the organization in the review, design, development, and evaluation of innovative learning solutions, including instructor-led materials, e-learning modules, virtual training, simulations, job aids, and performance support tools. Responsibilities
Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs by gathering data, measuring outcomes against performance objectives, and recommending improvements. Applies adult learning theory, instructional design models, and user-centered design principles to develop learning solutions such as e-learning modules, simulations, job aids, assessments, and blended learning curricula. Collaborates with stakeholders to integrate appropriate technology and learning tools into the curriculum to maximize learner engagement and retention. Partners with the Instructional Design Manager and subject matter experts to conduct needs analyses, identify learning objectives, and design instructional strategies aligned with business goals. Maintains knowledge of emerging instructional strategies, technologies, and trends to continuously enhance the organization’s learning offerings. Revises and updates content based on learner feedback, evaluation results, and evolving industry best practices. Creates and maintains high-quality instructional materials using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, or similar tools, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Qualifications
Bachelors (Required) Two (2) years of experience in Instructional Design and e-Learning design. Certification in instructional design or eLearning (e.g., ATD, Articulate) preferred. Familiar with LMS platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Cornerstone) and authoring tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360); knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Camtasia or similar.
