Senior CAD Designer

Responsibilities Develop and produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for residential projects using AutoCAD Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design concepts into construction-ready documentation Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes Conduct site visits and field measurements as needed to support design accuracy Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for project tracking and archiving Assist in the preparation of permit and construction documents Provide mentorship and guidance to junior CAD designers or drafters Requirements Degree or certification in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering, or a related field preferred 10+ years of experience in CAD design, with a focus on residential architecture Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit, SketchUp, or other design tools is a plus Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and detailing Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Details Location: San Antonio, TX Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time EEO Statement: Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
