Proof of the Pudding is an award-winning catering company throughout the Southeast with a commitment to creating quality culinary concepts from scratch. This standard was upheld through the expansion into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services by providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, Professional Sports Teams, and more. We are seeking an experienced and diligent Concessions Supervisor to lead the concessions program. The Concessions Supervisor will be responsible for supervising concession stands at a variety of events and assisting the team in pre-planning and event logistics. This position requires travel, knowledge of catering/buffet equipment and operations, and experience in high volume Sports & Entertainment catering. Responsibilities

Pre-Event

Lead meetings with volunteer groups and maintain open lines of communication with the director of concessions and operations team; prepare for each event. Manage volunteer groups and temporary staff working in the stands. Prepare organizational documents; ensure Concessions Folders and necessary paperwork are available, restock sheets per location, and ensure time & temperature and handwashing paperwork are posted and visible. Set up smallwares and equipment, ensure each is ready and operational. Clean equipment and stock beverage coolers. Understand how the payment systems (Square POS) work. Assist with the integration of new volunteer groups and training of new team members. Ensure all volunteer and temporary staff are on time and report tardiness to the Director. On-Site

Responsible for total concessions management of several PGA golf tournaments and special events including POS installation, operational training, ordering/receiving restock inventory, equipment and goods inventory, on-site setup, event execution, and end-of-event break-down. Supervise the preparation and service of food and refreshments; ensure compliance with local health & safety standards. Maintain all bar policies and procedures; ensure bartenders understand and are familiar with Proof of the Pudding policies. Directly supervise concessions employees with responsibility for hiring, coaching, and corrective action plans if necessary. Conduct pre-shift meetings and manage the team for each event. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following sanitation standards and procedures; comply with legal regulations; secure revenues; maintain security systems. Coordinate logistics for determined locations and facilitate operational needs for success. Assist with POS maintenance and management in specified locations. Ensure clients are welcomed by you and staff. Post-Event

Assist in post-event tasks including inventory, loading trucks for upcoming events, and overseeing concessions food donations. Complete stand/bar breakdown. Secure and finalize all POS units; ensure all transactions are completed online and pack units for delivery back to the Director. Performs other related duties as needed. Required Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience in Concessions, Sports & Entertainment Operations, Food & Beverage, or Operations Supervising; experience in high-volume stadiums or special events is preferred. Ability to travel domestically throughout the year; typical trips are from 10-20 days in length. Knowledge of Programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and POS Must have valid driver’s license, be able to rent and drive cars, and be able to operate a golf cart Ability to obtain forklift license is preferred Specialized Qualifications

This position is most often stationed in a temporary tent structure and is outdoors in varying weather conditions. You will be client-facing and will communicate with a variety of people. The role involves standing, walking, kitchen duties, and carrying equipment and/or food products. Physical Demands

Standing and walking for long periods; hours can be long and demanding Typical event days may range 8-14 hours Periods of standing and moving through an event space, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment and food items Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting approximately 50 lbs Position Salary & Benefits
