National Pump Station Design Leader
will serve as Dewberry's national business and technical leader to help grow and deliver design of various types of pump stations across the country. If needed, serve as a Project Director on planning, engineering, and construction of large-scale projects to address stormwater flooding, habitat restoration, marine/waterfront structures, sea-level rise, and mitigation studies or projects. The

will also participate in the development of proposals, lead business development, present at conferences, participate in professional organizations, and will have the opportunity to grow Dewberry's enterprise team in stormwater management. Responsibilities
Develop strong client relationships in either Client Manager and/or Project Manager.
Lead strategy and capture planning on pursuits of large flood resilience and stormwater pump station design projects.
Lead multi-disciplined teams of professionals on large scale flood resilience design projects.
Oversee engineering analysis; preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities; and write specifications and construction documents.
Serve as Engineer of Record on stormwater design projects, if required.
Manage, lead, execute, and/or provide technical support for resilience, water resources, and hazard mitigation projects within the municipal, regional, and Federal markets.
Communicate with clients, establish goals and objectives for project teams, and schedule and coordinate resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the performance expectations of the client.
Required Skills & Required Experience
BS or MS degree with emphasis in Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 15 years of experience on stormwater and flood resilience engineering projects.
Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain reciprocity in various states.
Progressive experience conducting business development and project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects in coastal communities, including Stormwater Pump Stations, flood control channels and tide gates.
Knowledge of USACE, FEMA, AWWA standards and procedures for design.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Experience using ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation.
Knowledge of hydrodynamic modeling programs such as PC-SWMM, MIKE, HEC-RAS and CFD is a plus.
Extensive experience as Engineer of Record on stormwater pump station projects.
Knowledge of U.S Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works Program and/or State/local programs that design and construct pump stations.
A clean driving record is required.
