In order to achieve its ambition of serving 80,000-100,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven must continue to build on momentum in employer partnerships. Braven is hiring a Director, Employer Partnerships, with a focus on Business & Finance Sectors to support corporate fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and Fellow outcomes. As a member of Braven's national External Affairs team, you will cultivate new prospective partners in the business & finance sectors and manage a portfolio of 20+ existing partners. This role reports to the Head of Employer Partnerships & Volunteer Recruitment. What You'll Do

Deepening Existing Relationships (50%): Manage a portfolio of high-stakes, shared-value relationships with national business & finance industry partners, driving outcomes and growth; annual goals include $3.5M+ in revenue. Develop and share internal memos communicating Braven’s engagement plan for each partner and refine over time. Recruit 700+ volunteer mentors and coaches from the business & finance sector, building a network of leaders who expand Fellows’ social capital. Ensure excellent customer service for stakeholders ranging from executive sponsors to frontline contacts. Use data and strategic storytelling to build and deepen relationships. Partnership Cultivation (20%): Proactively research potential partners, develop cultivation plans, and leverage a relational approach to building connections. Use strong communication to cultivate new partnerships, craft pitches, negotiate strategic agreements, and renew existing partnerships. Engage Braven's CEO and executive directors, setting vision and providing operational support to move partnerships forward. Strategy & Operations (25%): Collaborate with internal departments and regional executive directors to align on a coordinated approach to shared-value relationships. Manage systems and infrastructure (pipeline tracking, prospect research, national events). Other duties as assigned. Brand Awareness & Advocacy - 5%: Raise Braven’s brand through thought leadership, media, public speaking, and events. Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Work Experience: 5-7 years in partnerships with a track record of achieving ambitious outcomes. Preferred Qualifications

2+ years as account manager or 2+ years leading corporate partnerships for a nonprofit; passion for using skills to make a lasting impact. Enjoy building relationships with diverse stakeholders and have strong communication skills. Systems thinker with an understanding of networks and stakeholder involvement. Strategic thinking, storytelling, and organizational skills to support underrepresented college students. Plan 2-3 months ahead; like timelines, meeting agendas, and keeping teams aligned. Detail-oriented with processes to check work and data accuracy. Proactive, problem-solver who combines creativity and strategy; willing to research when needed and seek opportunities to expand impact. Open to constructive feedback and growth. In-person work in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, or Newark. Travel 6-12 times annually out of state for retreats, events, and meetings. Approximately 10-15 nights/weekends per year, coinciding with Braven events. Additional Requirements

Braven offers competitive base salaries based on market benchmarks for not-for-profit organizations of similar size, with potential for growth. Salary offers are determined using internal and external benchmarking. New hires may start at the lower end of the range to allow for growth and maintain internal equity. Geographic pay ranges: Atlanta $87,200-$108,900; Chicago $92,000-$114,900; New York City / Newark $101,200-$126,400. This is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position. Benefits include: unlimited vacation (minimum 19 days/year), 401K match up to 5%, 85% health premium coverage for employee and dependents, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, and a one-month paid sabbatical after 4 years of service. Location note: Braven requires in-office presence 3 days/week (Tue-Thu) and remote 2 days/week (Mon, Fri). Candidates must live within commuting distance of one of our hubs (Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Newark).
