Overview
Core Payments Relationship Manager (RM) responsible for prospecting and running presentations to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals within a fast sales cycle. You will report to a District Manager and receive coaching from a Director. Activities include explaining our value proposition, demonstrating our Payments Platform, upselling Heartland products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Core Payments District Manager. Responsibilities
Prospect new clients and set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships. Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Payments solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses. Maintain and update client records in the CRM system (Atlas), including call notes and scheduled interactions. Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first-time appointments, to secure quota. Continuously build knowledge of the product/service portfolio and developments in the financial technology industry. Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with your leader. During training, work with the District Manager on the short-cycle sales process using Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, presentations, on-the-spot financial analysis, and paperless contract processing. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications
Minimum: 18 years of age or older Valid driver’s license and ability to visit client sites regularly Background check after a conditional offer of employment Drug screening near day 60 of employment Live in the area relative to the job posting location Ability to be in the field at least 75% of the time Preferred: High school diploma or GED At least two years of relevant sales experience Competencies include: awareness, driven, resilient, respectful, commitment Benefits

Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+ Base salary: $40,000+ Residual income: ongoing earnings from your work Monthly/quarterly bonuses: incentives for exceeding quota and achieving sales goals Your total compensation will depend on your skills, performance, and location.
