Overview
TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection partners with a leading Ingredient Supplier to recruit a Sales Director Illinois Based, responsible for leading regional and national sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, and managing strategic accounts across the dietary supplement, food, and beverage industries. This is a high-impact role for a commercially driven leader with a strong background in ingredient sales, team leadership, and customer strategy. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field. 8+ years of B2B sales experience in nutraceutical, food, or functional ingredient supply. Demonstrated success in leading sales teams, developing territories, and closing complex deals. Deep network of customers including CPGs, contract manufacturers, and wellness brands. Strong knowledge of ingredient applications, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics. Based in Illinois or surrounding Midwest area, with willingness to travel regularly. Responsibilities
Develop and execute the national sales strategy aligned with company growth targets. Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team across multiple regions. Build and manage key relationships with large accounts and strategic partners. Work cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and supply chain to deliver customer-centric solutions. Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to drive informed decisions. Represent the company at major industry events, trade shows, and client meetings. Contact
