Overview
Moonshot is collecting applications for a Social Media Campaigns Analyst to support the design and implementation of individualized programs aimed at reaching individuals at risk of online harms, such as violent extremism, targeted violence, gender-based violence, and information manipulation. The Campaigns Analyst, under the oversight of a Campaigns Manager, will analyze social media trends and data, support the design, implementation and maintenance of advertising campaigns to reach target audiences, and develop cross-platform pathways to connect individuals with skilled mental and behavioral health providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms and marketing. Base pay range
$50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Monitoring and analyzing social media trends, including engagement metrics and audience demographics Monitoring and generating regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting key insights and opportunities for improvement Coordinating with teams to develop ad creatives and messaging that resonates with target audiences Conducting keyword research and analysis to inform advertising strategies Using analytic tools to track and measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content Collaborating with the intelligence insights team to incorporate emerging trends into outreach and engagement strategies Assisting in the creation and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and other platforms Requirements
Essential: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights Familiarity with a variety of social media platforms and social media analytics tools Basic understanding of digital advertising principles and platforms Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Ability to work under pressure, manage own workload and coordinate with others Inquisitiveness and adaptability, particularly regarding new technology and social media for research Commitment to Moonshot's mission Candidates must be eligible to work in the US and may be required to undertake security clearance procedures per client needs Desirable: Knowledge of SEO/SEM Experience in analysis across traditional and non-traditional digital platforms, OSINT methods, or threat risk analysis Subject matter knowledge in areas such as violent extremism, hate crimes, human trafficking Experience with digital marketing on nontraditional and emerging media Fluency in languages other than English Benefits
