How you can make a difference The Director Software Engineering is responsible for all development and delivery aspects of the software development life cycle including coding, testing, integration, deployment, delivery automation, support, and monitoring of our product platforms and applications for their department. They advise executive management and provide high level consulting and influence business initiatives. What you\'ll be doing
Manages and carries out the personnel actions for direct reports, including hiring and scheduling; training and evaluating; coaching and managing performance; making salary, merit, or other compensation recommendations for team of direct reports; and making recommendations and/or taking corrective or disciplinary action as appropriate.
Lead, inspire, and influence to drive technology solutions that successfully drive and deliver business value.
Oversee day to day operations of the Software Development and delivery department, including managing budgets, operational metrics, and product performance.
Develop and maintain effective partnerships across internal and external business partners.
Coach, mentor, and develop technology leaders using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage leader and team member contribution.
Participate in strategic decisions around technologies and processes related to product development and software product.
What you will need to be successful Bachelor's Degree in Technology related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing software development teams
Minimum 7 years of experience working through product solution, design, development, testing, and release cycles utilizing SDLC practices.
Minimum 3 years in leading software engineers in an agile environment
Experience with C#, .NET, SQL Server, Azure Development, and TypeScript
Experience with Behavioral Driven Design, Domain Driven Design, Object-Oriented Design
A strong customer service orientation is essential.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing demands of business is a must.
Experience with service-oriented and event-driven system architecture, building high-performance distributed systems is needed while experience working in a public cloud ecosystem is preferred.
Strong technical background that allows you to advocate for and support your engineers and technology team-members.

Salary Range
$150,000.00 To $191,000.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
