What You Will Get To Do
Reconcile the funds positions/securities to outside sources
Ensure daily, monthly and quarterly reports are delivered timely and accurately to clients, including accounting reconciliations, general ledger, P&L, compliance and performance reporting
Maintain relationships with clients, including leading operations, governance and vendor review meetings
Manage career advancement for staff for a group of 1-2 employees
Project management of client-specific initiatives
Develop and implement consistent policies and procedures for clients including business analysis, new requirements, workflow, and operational review
Act as escalation point and problem solver for the team, ensuring action plans are implemented for service issues
Drive enhancement projects for technology and operational processes
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
Master’s degree and/or CPA is a strong plus
4-8+ years’ experience in Accounting or Back Office Operations in a Prime Broker, Administrator, Hedge Fund, Investment Advisor or Audit firm
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate actions
Experience with products including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, mortgages and options
Advanced MS Excel knowledge
Solid hands-on supervisory experience and the ability to delegate effectively
