Overview

Alterations Specialists are responsible for completing all fittings and alterations to the high standards of David’s Bridal and report to the Store Manager. They demonstrate friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise and provide superior customer service. They are members of the store team and embody the David’s Bridal brand values. Responsibilities

Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person; communicate clearly and concisely, adapt style to suit customers by problem solving; maintain excellent phone skills and resolve conflicts. Use all systems to manage the customer flow and deliver a five-star customer experience. Maintain service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, meeting needs, and supporting customers through operational tasks and emotional support. Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers, contributing to the store’s Five-Star Customer Service goals. Address customer concerns proactively; know when to escalate and partner with leadership. Explain how alterations contribute to perfecting the dress for the event; promote alteration services and personalization options. Assist stylists in closing sales by advising customers on gown fit and customization. Maintain store standards for a flawless shopping environment and uphold the Dress Code Policy. Greet and escort alterations customers to and from alteration appointments; ensure quality control of altered/steamed/pressed garments before delivery. Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information; build long-term relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty. Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning to company standards; process special orders pickups and ensure first-quality merchandise. Support all cash wrap activities; process transactions accurately and contribute to a celebratory customer experience. Keep the alterations room clean and organized; perform duties as assigned by store management. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or a specialty store environment. Prior sewing experience, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production. Experience with a computerized POS system is a plus. Part Time Benefits Include
