Enterprise Account Executive, Higher Education at Anthropic. Promote our AI productivity SaaS solution to colleges, universities, and academic research institutions. Drive adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic deals and serving as a trusted partner to academic stakeholders in teaching, research, and administration. Responsibilities

Win new business and drive revenue within the higher education sector. Navigate complex academic institutions to reach key decision-makers, educate them about our services, and manage the full sales cycle from outbound outreach to close. Design and execute innovative sales strategies aligned with higher education procurement cycles and budgeting processes to meet and exceed revenue quotas. Analyze education market landscapes to translate plans into targeted activities and campaigns. Spearhead market expansion by identifying new use cases within academic departments, research centers, and administrative offices. Collaborate cross-functionally to differentiate offerings for educational applications. Navigate stakeholder ecosystems including faculty, administrators, IT departments, and procurement offices to build consensus. Inform product roadmaps by gathering feedback from educational users and conveying academic market needs. Provide insights to strengthen our value proposition for higher education. Continuously refine the higher education sales methodology by updating playbooks, templates, and best practices to optimize sales productivity and consistency. You may be a good fit if you have

5+ years of B2B sales experience in higher education technology, preferably in SaaS, API solutions, or emerging technologies Track record of managing complex sales cycles within academic institutions and securing strategic deals by understanding technical requirements and educational use cases Ability to navigate academic bureaucracies and procurement processes, building consensus among faculty, administrators, and IT departments Experience negotiating complex agreements within higher education procurement frameworks Proven experience exceeding revenue targets in the education sector with evolving pipeline management Excellent communication skills and the ability to present confidently to academic audiences from faculty to senior administration Deep understanding of higher education buying cycles, decision-making processes, and key pain points Strategic, analytical approach to assessing the education market with creative, tactical execution to capture opportunities Passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems and their applications in education, with a commitment to safe and ethical frontier AI in academic use Deadline to apply:

The expected base compensation for this position is below. Our total compensation package includes equity, benefits, and may include incentive compensation. $180,000 - $350,000 USD Why Anthropic
