The Apple TV+ team is seeking a highly organized, motivated and resourceful individual capable of excelling in a fast-paced environment to join our team as a Manager of Corporate Communications. This role will develop and deliver strategic communications for Apple’s original video subscription service, Apple TV+, featuring original shows, movies and documentaries from the world’s most creative storytellers.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute announcements, program deals and momentum activities for Apple’s streaming service. Write and develop thoughtful pitches and press materials; draft and manage announcements and media briefings. Identify and handle issues across global productions in a continuous news cycle. Collaborate with production partners, producers, talent representatives and executives to accomplish goals. Translate customer experience into highly relevant and engaging communications and execute projects with attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in corporate communications at a film or television studio, network or streaming platform, or at a PR agency servicing film/television studios, networks or streaming programming Experience developing and handling corporate communications, programming partnerships, launches and momentum programs
Preferred Qualifications
Established, positive relationships in the entertainment, trade, business and consumer space, with a track record of developing and placing stories Effective collaborator capable of working cross-functionally across teams and geographies Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple projects in a dynamic environment Adept at leading communications from start to finish Excellent writing and editing skills; able to develop pitches and press materials Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment and apply insights Previous experience in driving successful communications programs in entertainment Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under short timelines Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Self-starter with creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills Deep knowledge of industry trends and television/film landscape Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Compensation and Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $139,800 and $260,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
