Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Telecommunications Project Leader who will take a position in Arlington VA. Responsibilities
Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems. Establish and implementing procedures and controls to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support. Managing Subcontractors related to M.C. Deans installation scope. Developing and maintaining resource-loaded project schedule in MS Project. Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews. Forecasting cash flow and manpower needs for projects. Working with the project team to develop budgets with cost codes for allocating manpower to the schedule for foreman level tracking. Researching and compiling submittals, identifying/pricing change orders and preparing estimates for projects. Preparing a design/build project estimate based on design criteria. Meeting with customers to present proposals and cost estimates. Interpreting and explaining plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients. Conferring with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems. Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline. 5+ years of related construction experience with a Master’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering discipline. Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules. Extensive experience leading diverse teams & projects with construction budgets valued between $500K - $10M+ in Telecommunication Scopes. Minimum 4+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, & Government Airports, Higher-Education, Information Transit Systems. Required knowledge within construction low-voltage functions including self-perform contracting, field coordination efforts, maintenance of schedule & prioritization of deliverable deadlines tied to each specialty-trade simultaneously. Compensation
$100,000 to $180,000 *Depending on Experience Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law #LI-SH2
