Baytree Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinarian to join our 2-doctor team. We’re located in Valdosta, Georgia, a South Georgia community about 15 miles from the Florida state line.
We’re searching for a compassionate veterinarian that values collaboration, loves mentorship, and will fit in perfectly with our positive culture.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to take on a leadership position. We’re also happy to consider hiring an associate veterinarian who has goals of taking on a leadership role in the future.
Must be licensed, or able to become licensed, in the state of Georgia for consideration. This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling. There are
no weekend, emergency, or on-call
services for this position. Background and Experience: Strong leadership skills (prior experience in a leadership role is a plus!) Ability to collaborate with our existing team (2 DVMs & talented support members) Have a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Build and uphold existing relationships with the local community Be hardworking, honest, and confident in your abilities Key Responsibilities: Grow relationships within the practice and the community Encourage the growth of support staff members Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments Oversee the medical care of all patients Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses Partner with hospital leadership to ensure medical quality Assist Practice Manager with the staffing and scheduling Compensation: We offer flexible compensation options: choose between base salary, salary + production, or production only—whichever style fits your needs the best! We’re also offering a generous sign-on bonus and no negative accrual for this role.
