Overview
We are seeking an experienced Locums Neurosurgery Physician to provide coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Anderson, South Carolina. This assignment involves inpatient hospital call and neurosurgical case coverage, with a focus on adult and trauma cases. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified with active South Carolina licensure and DEA, and capable of handling complex neurosurgical emergencies. Assignment Details
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM On-Call Coverage: Friday 7:00 AM– Monday 7:00 AM Open Dates:
November 27 (7:00 AM) – December 1 (7:00 AM) December 24 (7:00 AM) – December 29 (7:00 AM)
Setting: Hospital/Inpatient Only Call Ratio: N/A Average Surgical Cases Per Day: Varies Trauma Level: II EMR: Epic Procedures Required
Neurosurgery cases (Adult & Trauma) Brain bleed management/stoppage Spine surgery procedures, including laminectomy Requirements
Board Certified in Neurosurgery Active South Carolina medical license and DEA Proven experience managing neurosurgical trauma cases Comfortable providing full-scope inpatient neurosurgical coverage Anderson is a vibrant community in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, known as the "Electric City."
