Position Summary We\'re looking for someone to join our team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Outpatient) who: Maintains responsibility for providing expert clinical care in general or specialty areas. Assesses, plans and provides patient care in collaboration with the attending physician. Provides comprehensive health assessments, performs medical diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, writes prescriptions and formulates treatment plans. Diagnoses medical conditions, plans and implements interventions. Assists in medical/surgical care of patients and evaluates responses in collaboration with the attending/consulting physicians.
Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.
Education • Bachelor\'s Degree: Preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice: Required
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice: Required
OR Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in state of practice: Required
About Delano Located just 30 miles north of Bakersfield, Delano is a small, underserved community with strong community values. The Bakersfield/Delano area is 2 hours from Los Angeles, the central coast, and Sequoia National Park. Bakersfield boasts great schools (including a university), museums, cultural diversity and cuisine, and a plethora of outdoor activities.
Benefits
Wage Scale: $132,384 - $198,577 (will be prorated depending on FTE status)
Schedule: 3 Days (Friday through Sunday) 8 AM to 6 PM
Salary based on experience
