This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape the delivery of comprehensive, culturally competent health care to a diverse student body while guiding a talented clinical team.**About the Role:**

Reporting in conjunction with the Director of Healthcare Operations, the Clinical Director provides strategic clinical leadership, overseeing program design, policy development, and the delivery of high-quality student health services. You will manage, mentor, and supervise nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and medical assistants, fostering professional growth and ensuring excellence in patient care. As an institutional leader, you will collaborate across departments, lead crisis response efforts, and serve as a trusted consultant on student health and wellness initiatives.**Key Responsibilities:*** Deliver culturally and clinically competent direct patient care to Brandeis students within board-certified scope of practice.* Recruit, hire, supervise, develop, and evaluate all clinical staff, building a high-performing, inclusive team.* Oversee quality assurance, protocol development, and continuous improvement of Health Center services.* Act as a medical resource for the University community, including serving as team physician for intercollegiate athletics and providing consultative services to certified athletic trainers.* Advise Student Affairs leadership on health-related policy, programs, and emerging campus health issues.* Serve as liaison with local hospitals, public health departments, and state agencies during health crises, including outbreaks and pandemic response.**Qualifications:*** Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) – Required* Current Massachusetts license, prescriptive registrations (MA DPH-CSR), and Federal DEA – Required* Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine – Required* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required* Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience; 8+ years preferred* Demonstrated leadership experience with clinical teams and knowledge of health care management in a higher education or similar settingThis is more than a leadership role—it is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the health, well-being, and success of students at a vibrant, intellectually rich university.
