We are seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join our Neonatology-Perinatology Department. You will be part of a highly skilled team providing care for critically ill and premature newborns within our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our NICU has a capacity of 100 beds, including 75 Level IV beds and 25 Level III beds in private rooms, ensuring optimal care and family comfort. Coverage also extends to the Akron Children's Summa NICU, a 22-bed Level III unit. Key Responsibilities: Deliver expert care to sick and premature newborns in Level IV and Level III NICUs. Attend and manage high-risk deliveries. Develop and implement treatment plans for extremely premature, surgical, cardiac, and ECMO patients to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including 8 neonatologists and 40 neonatal nurse practitioners. Qualifications: Board-certified or eligible in Neonatology. Ability to obtain an Ohio medical license. Experience in neonatal intensive care and high-risk deliveries. Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork. Opportunities for Growth: Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, with an academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will have teaching opportunities and an academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University. They should be an excellent clinician with interests in education and quality improvement. This position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness as it is a 501(c)(3) organization.
