The Marketing Coordinator supports the Communications Director by creating and sharing content that promotes the ministries and mission of First Baptist Atlanta. This role blends graphic design, photography, video, social media, and copywriting to engage people with Christ and His church. Qualifications
A mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, with clear alignment to the beliefs, values, and mission of First Baptist Atlanta. Strong communication, writing, and editing skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) or similar tools. Experience in photography, video production, and design. Familiarity with social media platforms and audience engagement. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, ministry leaders, and volunteers. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Design graphics for social media, email, print, and digital campaigns. Capture and edit photos and videos for ministry use. Create, post, and monitor content across social platforms, engaging with online audiences. Assist with website updates, event promotion, and digital advertising. Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels. Track campaign results and provide reports to the Communications Director. Collaborate with ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers to meet communication needs. Provide creative support for weekly services, sermon series, and ministry events. Participate in staff meetings, prayer gatherings, and ministry activities. Core Competencies

Assist with training and supporting volunteers who help with communications. Stay current on design tools, social media trends, and creative best practices. Help organize and maintain digital files, photos, and design templates. Support other departments with communication needs as assigned. Model active participation at First Baptist Atlanta through worship, service, and stewardship.
