UNC Rex invites you to become part of our dynamic, expanding group serving the Triangle community. Here, you will join a dedicated team of physicians and midwives providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care at our UNC Rex (Raleigh) location. The incoming physician will gain colleague support from established physicians and midwives, great clinical support, a welcoming community, and a supportive schedule for work/life balance. This is a Casual opportunity.
Established group of 7 OB/GYNs, 7 CNMs, and 1 WHNP
Shifts consist of 2 providers: 1 MD/DO and 1 CNM to support service
Da Vinci robotics available at UNC Rex (Raleigh) Hospital
21 Bed Level 4 NICU by North Carolina standards, Level 3 NICU by American Academy of Pediatrics
NICU is 27 weeks and up
24/7 Neonatology - Neonatologists onsite during the day and on call at night. NNP in house 24/7
EPIC (EHR) w/ AI Scribe capabilities to utilize during documentation
Collaborative and collegial team welcoming experienced and new providers
Practice Details
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
Licensure/Certification: Board Certified OB-GYN, DEA; ACLS
Organization: UNC Rex Hospital, a private not-for-profit health system with 125+ years of service
Work Type: Per Diem; Standard hours per week: 4; Onsite; Schedule: Variable

Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Board Certified OB-GYN, DEA; ACLS
Professional Experience Requirements:
Prefer prior hospitalist experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
English language proficiency
Reasoning & Certifications Reasoning ability: High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning to diagnose medical and clinical issues.
Physical & Work Environment
Physical Demands:
Sit, use hands, speak, and other requirements; lift up to 25 pounds
Work Environment:
Medical office setting; moderate noise; on-site clinical duties
