As a Senior Staff Data Scientist within Intuit’s ICS Data Science & Analytics organization, you will sit at the intersection of data science, product strategy, and technical product development. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end strategy, development, and delivery of scalable, AI-powered data products that unlock business growth, elevate customer success, and power Intuit’s next-generation data capabilities.
You will partner with Customer Success, Data Science, Engineering, Product Management, Analytics, CX, and Business Operations teams to identify impactful opportunities, build durable data products, lead experimentation, and operationalize insights at scale.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with deep technical acumen, hands-on data science experience, and strong product instincts to build the future of autonomous insights and intelligent systems at Intuit.
Responsibilities
Product & Data Science Leadership
Drive the vision, roadmap, and execution for data products and insight platforms across Intuit’s Customer Success ecosystem.
Collaborate in designing and developing predictive models, durable segmentation, and insight automation that drive personalized digital and human experiences.
Partner with our Platform Innovation team to translate business problems into clear, testable hypotheses using machine learning, experimentation frameworks, and customer behavior data.
Strategic Influence & Innovation
Champion a platform-centric approach to insight delivery, making data accessible, durable, and operationalized across teams.
Drive innovation by applying GenAI, autonomous agents, and multi-modal analytics to transform customer support and internal decision-making.
Evangelize the value of data products and autonomous insights across senior stakeholders and leadership forums.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Act as a hub between data, product, engineering, and customer experience teams, managing cross-functional alignment, dependency mapping, and prioritization.
Lead working groups and mission teams to deliver data science applications with measurable impact on business KPIs and customer outcomes.
Work with regional and global data science teams to create exportable frameworks and patterns that scale across Intuit’s platforms.
Execution & Scale
Build reusable analytics solutions and data products with a focus on velocity, scalability, and efficiency.
Having a bias for action, with a track record of delivering results through agile, iterative processes.
Preparing and helping to represent business performance utilizing Data Science automation and products in support of the reporting and decision making for the Intuit Customer Success Financial, Efficiencies, and Business plan.
Qualifications
8+ years in Data Science, Product Analytics, or Technical Product Management roles within high-growth SaaS or fintech environments.
Proven experience in building and scaling data products, predictive models, and experimentation systems.
Track record of driving business transformation via data-informed strategy and intelligent systems.
Technical Acumen
Strong foundational knowledge in data infrastructure and architecture, including schema design, data lineage, governance, and performance optimization across cloud-native platforms.
Familiarity with software development best practices, Git, and agile workflows.
Strong understanding of GenAI, agent-based systems, and applied ML in production environments.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, QuickSight) is a plus.
Product & Strategic Thinking
Ability to define data-backed product strategies that deliver measurable business and customer outcomes.
Skilled in balancing short-term wins with long-term data infrastructure vision.
Experience turning ambiguous problems into structured solutions that influence product design, go-to-market planning, and other key business decisions.
Communication & Influence
Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, lead with empathy, and create alignment across diverse teams.
