Overview

Creative Director - Art/Design Direction, Global Studio at Amazon. Lead internal creative agency Global Studio to drive a consistent brand vision for the Amazon brand globally. This creative lead role sits within the central brand and creative team, bringing exceptional ideas with a high level of craft to global and partner teams. Responsibilities

Drive world-class global campaigns across Amazon; oversee day-to-day creative while shaping long-term brand direction. Interpret creative briefs, develop bar-raising creative for campaigns and onsite experiences across all of Amazon globally. Lead brainstorms and collaborate with teams of art directors, copywriters, designers, motion designers, program managers, and creative directors. Work with a network of producers, directors, and marketing professionals to deliver exceptional brand experiences and systems seen by millions of customers worldwide. Direct other art directors/designers to execute at a high bar across digital platforms, broadcast, print, out-of-home, and social channels. Develop practices to harness new ways of thinking; act with a bias for action and entrepreneurial spirit. Present concepts effectively to senior executives; maintain strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Basic Qualifications

8+ years driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team. Bachelor’s degree. Preferred Qualifications

Portfolio demonstrating integrated campaigns across TV/Film, digital, OOH, social, design, and radio. 5+ years experience overseeing creative teams in management roles (internal art directors, designers, copywriters, external agencies, and freelancers). Ability to build cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research, and marketing teams to develop strategy and insights. Experience with a brand of global scale and adaptability to different cultures. Lead creative development with dedication to craft from idea to execution; persuade senior executives with concepts. Strong typography and design principles knowledge across digital and print. Experience with a world-class advertising agency or consultancy; bias for action in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment. Curiosity to dig into success metrics and understand key drivers. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines. Proficiency in Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote. Proven track record of ownership and results on creative projects; self-motivated team player with assertive leadership. Ability to influence others to set and achieve goals and deadlines; desire for innovation balanced with business and user priorities.
