Job Summary: The ideal candidate is an experienced videographer/photographer (content creator) with a vision to build a growing brand through creative visual and audio storytelling. You will manage the creative process end-to-end across formats including 1-on-1 interviews, multiple subject video podcasts, events, internal training & explainer videos, social media segments, and marketing-driven advertisements. You will set up and manage video and photoshoots, including pre-planning, lighting, audio, directing, and interviewing. Responsibilities
Take full ownership of all video and photography projects, from planning with the marketing team to final production, including Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production. Regularly track video performance using analytics tools and use data to inform format, approach, and promotion of content. Interact with executives, sales teams, operations teams, and external partners as a hands-on leader and excellent communicator. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visuals that meet budget requirements, project deadlines, and stakeholder expectations. Direct shoots, manage setup, lighting, audio, and interview subjects to capture high-quality content. Stay current on new technologies and learning opportunities to continually improve skills and identify trends. Experience and Qualifications
Video Production: 5 years (Required) Photography: 5 years (Required) Knowledge of professional video, photo, and audio editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards. Experience with consulting, photography, filming, directing, editing, and producing final products that meet deadlines and expectations. Strong lighting skills, in-studio and remote environments. Demonstrated professional experience with multi-camera interviews Professional experience with camera equipment, lighting, audio, multi-point video shoots, green screens, and teleprompters Experience planning and communicating short and long-form video concepts for use across digital media channels. Working knowledge of video formats for YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Expert experience in the full Adobe Creative Suite Professional experience creating motion graphics (e.g., animated typography, titles, logos, graphic loops, explainer videos, UI/UX animations) Experience and advanced skills in color grading video Fundamental knowledge and experience in headshot and event photography Excellent interpersonal skills, including directing shoots and making subjects comfortable Experience creating compelling video content for social media platforms Must be located in or commutable distance to Fairfax Headquarters office Produce professional motion graphic animations, audio, video, and graphic images for distribution across digital channels Test video/photo, audio, and lighting equipment and determine needed supporting equipment and shot locations Follow ACM's video development process including creative brief, concept boards, pre-production, asset pull and shooting, video editing, final production, and promotion/distribution collaboration Passion, resourcefulness, independent thinking, and strong communication skills Stay current on new technologies and pursue learning opportunities for self and team Strong writing, strategic thinking, and planning with problem-solving abilities Passion for work and results-driven mindset Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver creative products that build the ACM brand Self-starter, motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic environments Perform other duties as required Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and occasional travel to branch locations for shoots Ability to manage and document all aspects of video and photography projects in the ACM Project Management platform Bonus: experience in Mortgage or Real Estate design, drone videography, and a degree in film, photography, or related field Important:
