In this role, you will collaborate across functions to implement best strategy practices, bring structured thinking to complex problems, foster active communication, and inspire collaboration in order to drive strategic outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in or across the following areas: corporate strategy/strategic planning, strategic finance, and/or corporate development. Experience in or exposure to life sciences is required.This role will be based in Boston or Ghent, remote work is possible, and will report to the Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy.**Roles and Responsibilities:** * Support the annual strategy setting across the company;* Collaborate across functions with key global stakeholders including: Science, Preclinical, Medical/Clinical Development, Asset Leaders, CMC, Business Development, New Product Planning, Patient Advocacy, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Finance, CMC,
Commercial, Clinical Science;* Collaborate with asset level teams, global commercial, finance and or the business development team to help develop project level forecasting models with assumptions based on market research and literature analyses and help drive long term forecasting at corporate level;* Help outline mitigation strategies for identified risks;* Support or drive ad-hoc corporate level strategic projects when necessary.* Ability to provide business case analysis at varying levels of granularity and gather/synthesize many strategic inputs (internal and external) to provide informed, strategic recommendations* A curious, innovative mindset with the ability to approach situations creatively, to gather insights and data from multiple sources, appreciate the patient journey, treatment dynamics, competition and difficult to solve problems;* Entrepreneurial instincts and creative problem solving ability;* Proven analytical abilities and mindset;* Highly organized with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;* Ability to set up quantitative and analytical models to assess complex business questions and ability to perform value analyses;* Possess the ability to outline and conduct market research (e.g., write questionnaires, facilitate interviews, synthesize findings, and apply to business questions) and develop analytical models together with other strategy team members if needed;* Desire to own and drive decision-making, in collaboration and consultation with internal and external partners and team members* A sense of urgency and a passion for helping patients and their communities.**Education, Experience and Qualifications:****Skills and Competencies:** High learning agility, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
