Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
This job is based in Woburn, MA. This position is designated as ONSITE.

As a Government Property Specialist
you will support Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) to include Equipment and Material. You will also support Depot Maintenance, Spares, and Supply Chain Management activities as needed. You will be key in review of Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and RTX contracts / proposals requirements and influencing a consistent and holistic approach to management of Government and customer property.
Ensuring GFP contractual requirements are understood, stated in program documentation, and executed accordingly. Registering unique item identification and interfacing with internal and external government property databases.
Interacting with government contacts to monitor expected deliveries of GFP in accordance with Statements of Work. Collaborating with teams to ensure government property contractual obligations are fulfilled and that government property inventories and statuses are accurate and up-to-date.
Notifying Receiving, Incoming Inspection and Property Administration of any GFP requiring any special routing, inspection or documentation requirements. Facilitating and ensuring delivery of GFP to applicable facilities and sites.
Facilitating property transfer and contract close-out activities as they pertain to GFP to ensure timely and efficient disposition of assets.
Supporting and monitoring Earned Value Management data regarding the planned vs actual hours accumulated for the task, and the preparation of quarterly EVM reports.
Preparing data for presentation at internal and external management reviews.
Approximately 10% Domestic Travel
Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience
Experience with control and accountability of property in a government or civilian environment.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Understanding and Application of PRISM, APEX, SAP, SOS, PIEE, and DPAS.
Understanding and application of government statutes and regulations (FAR, DFAR, DODIs, MIL standards, etc.).
Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI and Visio.
Proficiency in identifying and developing organizational processes.
Excellent data gathering and data analysis skills, and strong written and verbal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team, inspiring confidence in others, and ability to effectively communicate with Program Managers, Directors, functional leadership, customer representatives and government agencies about property activities/lifecycle.
Experience with Supply Chain, Logistics, Packaging, Handling, Shipping & Transportation (PHS&T), Repair & Return, Maintenance and/or execution of fielded assets in a military or civilian environment.
