Department: Marketing Reports to: Director of Marketing Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Compensation: $22.00-26.00/hour, commensurate with experience and education. Role Summary:

CityGate Hospitality is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to enhance our brand presence across social media platforms. The ideal candidate is a storyteller with a strong understanding of hospitality trends and content strategy, capable of bringing guest experiences to life online. Responsibilities: Participate in developing comprehensive social media communications that authentically represent each of our individual hospitality brands. Assist the Marketing Team with paid social advertising campaigns. Capture and post real-time content during key events and activations. Escalate sensitive guest feedback and coordinate with leadership on crisis communication. Complete other marketing-related projects and tasks assigned by the Marketing Team, particularly those related to digital presence, social media, and content strategy. Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms. Create and manage a monthly content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal events. Collaborate with internal departments to source content and promote on-property experiences. Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner according to established guidelines. Track performance metrics and provide monthly reports with insights and recommendations for growth. Create compelling, high-quality photo and video content that brings our brand experiences to life. Monitor industry trends, competitors, and influencer activities to keep our digital presence fresh and competitive. Support reputation management efforts by coordinating with individual outlets to address reviews and feedback. Uphold brand voice and visual identity in all social media communications. Receive and incorporate feedback on social media content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. College degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or Business Administration, or related working experience. Experience:

1-2 years of prior professional social media experience is required; prior experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred. Skills:

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills; familiar with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite); knowledge of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, including trends in video content; strong interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration; flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events; basic understanding of analytics and performance tracking; organized and adaptable with a guest-first mindset; proficient in photography and basic video editing for social media; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; independent worker who meets deadlines with minimal supervision; high attention to detail; familiar with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred. Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, walk and stand for up to 8 hours a day, with or without reasonable accommodation; must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill job duties; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly. Benefits Offered:
