$105,892.00/yr - $109,077.00/yr

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a part time Interventional Physiatrist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Metropolitan Hospital is a full-service community hospital that provides state-of-the-art care and leading-edge technology in a modern environment. We provide culturally sensitive care to patients from all five New York City boroughs in a welcoming and hospitable setting and utilizing the latest advances in medical science.

Opportunity Details

• Performs minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat pain and musculoskeletal conditions, especially those affecting the axial spine.
• Educates resident physicians and provides exposure to type and volume of interventional procedures necessary for residents to graduate from the PM&R training program.
• Evaluates patients upon follow up to determine effectiveness of interventional treatments, need for additional consultations, etc.
• Consults with other members of the professional staff.
