About Us:

Bluebonnet Dental Care, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients we serve. With the support of a practice manager and a highly trained team, you’ll be connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license in LA and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience:

• No prior dental experience needed
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records
• A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
• Clinical needs as required by the office

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions
• A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions
