Your Role as a Dental Hygienist

As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll play a vital role in the patient care team, ensuring your patients receive the time and care they deserve. Minimum Qualifications
  • Current dental hygienist license in WI and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs
  • 1 year of RDH experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
  • Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
  • A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, arranged during the pre-employment process
