TFD-Livonia is on the lookout for a passionate Part-Time Dental Hygienist to become a vital part of our team! We’re currently seeking someone for 2 days a week at TFD-Livonia, with the exciting possibility of transitioning to Full-Time at another practice.

Your Role as a Dental Hygienist

As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll play a crucial role in our patient care team, ensuring that every patient receives the time and care they need. About TFD-Livonia

TFD-Livonia, like every Heartland Dental-supported office, is unique to the community and the patients we serve. With the support of a practice manager and a highly trained on-site team, you’ll have access to all the resources and support Heartland Dental has to offer.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
  • 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet patient needs.
  • Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
  • A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, arranged during the pre-employment process.
