Role Overview
The Senior Account Director will lead high-impact client partnerships and drive strategic direction across healthcare marketing initiatives. This role demands a seasoned leader with deep expertise in peer-to-peer education, brand strategy, and cross-functional team leadership. As a senior advisor to clients, the Senior Account Director ensures excellence in execution, compliance, and measurable outcomes, while also contributing to business growth and organizational development. This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco, or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs. What You’ll Do
Serve as a senior strategic partner to clients, fostering long-term relationships and guiding brand vision. Lead the development and execution of complex peer-to-peer education programs and omnichannel marketing strategies. Translate market insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data into actionable strategies that drive ROI. Oversee business planning, forecasting, and strategic alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Define success metrics and ensure continuous optimization based on performance and learnings. Provide strategic leadership throughout brand planning and execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Mentor and develop account team members, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting career growth. Lead resource planning and team assignments to ensure flawless execution across projects. Manage large-scale budgets, timelines, and deliverables with a focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction. Partner with internal teams to ensure adherence to medical, legal, and regulatory standards. Drive process improvement initiatives, including the evolution of SOPs and best practices. Identify and lead organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to new business development efforts. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, agency, or pharmaceutical/biotech industries. Proven expertise in peer-to-peer education, brand strategy, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, team leadership, and budget management. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex client engagements. Additional Details
Travel: This position may require moderate overnight/weekend travel (up to 30%). Pay Range: $117,000-$153,000 This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
