Description
The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking an Endocrinologist to join its outpatient multi-specialty practice in the new location in Midtown Manhattan! This practice will be located on West 53nd Street and 8th Ave. The Endocrinologist will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction. In addition, the physician will lead by example, actively participating in patient care and bringing out the best in his/her colleagues. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai’s Department of Endocrinology is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care. The division embraces the mission of Icahn School of Medicine by pursuing an integrated approach to patient care, research, and education.
Responsibilities
Provide medical care in a high-functioning ambulatory setting Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system Benefit from the educational, research, and clinical programs of a nationally ranked Medical School Significant opportunities for leadership and career development Additional support staff Partner with Mount Sinai Diabetes Alliance program Share care responsibilities and coverage with other team members
Qualifications
Medical Degree from an Accredited University New York Medical License Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System Compensation range from 225K to 250K (not including bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits) Salary Disclosure Information: Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
