Overview
LQTC3000 Leidos QTC Health Services and our affiliated medical professional corporations (PCs), including Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, collaborate closely with government and non-government customers to address current and future program needs within the health services domain. In coordination with the PCs, we specialize in disability-focused medical examinations, independent medical exams and review services, occupational health services, diagnostic testing, and case management solutions. As innovators, we focus on advancing technologies that improve service delivery, with a particular emphasis on enhancing accessibility for examinees in rural communities. We handle over 2 million appointments annually.
We are seeking a
Physician Assistant Level I-V
at our
Stafford, VA
clinic to help ensure our service members get the best care possible. You will play a vital role in the continued care of these men and women.
Role at Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska As a Physician Assistant with Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, a Leidos QTC Health Service affiliated professional corporation, you will conduct a variety of general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations including, but not limited to:
Reviewing medical history and associated records
Interpreting clinical data
Completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO)
The examinations may be completed in-person (in a clinic setting), in the examinee’s home, telephonically, at large event settings for the Reserve Health Readiness Program, or using telehealth platforms.
You will also have the ability to travel (up to 30%) to provide physical examinations for veterans and service members in multiple locations throughout the country. All travel expenses are covered and a per diem will be received.
Pay Range Salary:
$120,000 - $170,000
with a potential annual bonus up to
30% .
Work Schedule, Location, and General Information
Generally Mon-Fri clinic operating hours are 8am - 5pm, with weekend/evening schedules based on operational needs.

Clinic Address: 400 Corporate Dr Ste 115 Stafford, VA 22554
3 weeks onboarding/training
Day to day consists of 75% examination time and 25% admin time
Support staff including MAs to provide in-clinic support
We will pay for licensing, malpractice, CME costs, and more
All benefits including medical, dental, life, STD/LTD, etc. available on DAY 1
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Physical exams for a variety of customers, including federal, defense, and others
Occupational health exams including pre- and post-employment and annual physicals
Written medical opinions based on provided medical records/information and acceptable clinical evidence (ACE)
Provide telephonic and virtual exams
Unique exam settings - homebound, event sites, etc.
Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
Provide primary medical evaluations including review of systems, pap smear, and range of motion
Initial review/interpretation of diagnostic studies (laboratory, pulmonary function, ECG)
Documentation of examinee records in appropriate systems
Collaborate with other professional and clinical staff and communicate with internal and client teams to determine the most effective and evidence-based path forward for the examinee population
Competencies
Demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to excellent customer service and care for claimants
Ability to assess examinee health status through physical examinations from a primary care perspective
Analytical ability to evaluate and render medical opinions
Review and interpretation of standard clinical diagnostics
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) and using Electronic Medical Records
Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts
Education and/or Experience Required:
Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university or college
Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care/internal medicine experience
Unrestricted state medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of practice in the hire state
Valid BLS or ACLS certification
Ability to obtain DEA license
Ability to earn and maintain clinical training/certifications as required by current and future contracts
Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearances (LARS, Public Trust, NACI, etc.) as required
Ability to pass medical clearance including N95 respirator fit test, TB test, and Hepatitis A/B vaccination or titer as required
Preferred:
Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations
